Please join us on Wednesday, March 23rd, 2022, at 3:00 PM in ISEB 1010 for the inaugural event in the new quarterly ISEB faculty seminar series, Double Takes. This seminar will feature UCI Samueli School of Engineering Assistant Professor Tirtha Banerjee and University of Szeged, Hungary Assistant Professor Csaba Janáky.

Tirtha Banerjee is an Assistant Professor on civil and environmental engineering at the UCI Samueli School, and his paper is titled, "Mapping, Modeling, and Mitigating Wildland Fire Risk: A Micrometeorological Perspective." Csaba Janaky is an assistant professor of physical chemistry and materials science at the University of Szeged, Hungary, and his paper's title is "Electrolyzer Development and Process Optimization: Paving the Road for Industrial Carbon-dioxide Electroreduction." At the very bottom of the flyer is text that reads, "Double Takes promotes interdisciplinary research by featuring two scientists with a common general goal, but very different approaches. This seminar will feature one ISEB faculty member and one outside faculty guest at approximately the same career stage."
